I've Been Published!

Hello All,

I am so excited to announce that I have been published on Scrapstreet.com for this month!

The category that I was featured in was Sweet Tooth and my creation features my wonderful husband, Michael.......titled: I Love Mocha (follow the link).  What makes this publication even more special and bitter sweet-exciting is that his birthday is in June.  He had no clue I made this layout or even that I entered for publication, he would have been super excited and honored, sad he is not able to see this...........Happy Birthday my love!

This is my Reese. She is my free, loving, artistic and fun girl. She's always smiling, she's always looking to make any situation fun, she's always thinking of ways to create a piece of art and she is always kind and loving. My husband calls her his "hippie chic" because of her free-spirited nature. She is our Reese's Piece's!

Valentine's Day is Approaching

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching!  I want to share a layout to get everyone in the mood.  I call this Love Song, which happens to be one of my favorite songs from Tesla.  That's a picture of me and my husband on a "date night".

For this LO I glittered mist Candy Apple Red & Black Magic (Tattered Angels) on a 12x12 watercolor paper.  I cut the hearts out of chipboard using the my Classic Heart Die (Spellbinders) and glittered mist them using the same mists as the background.  I also embossed the heart with Cracked Embossing Folder (Tim Holtz) and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder (Stampendous).  The wings were cut out of a fabric paper (I don't know the name of it but I bought at Hobby Lobby) using my Angel Wings Die (Sizzix).  The gem swirls and flowers I brought from Michaels (Recollections) and the stamped a border on the side of the LO (Cosmo Cricket).

Be Mine Mini Album (My First Mini!)

I just want to share my first mini album I created (I am super excited)!  The paper collection I used was the Be Mine from Echo Park and black cardstock paper pack from Hobby Lobby.  And this is what I came up with..................

Brrrr........Let It Snow!

Hello Bloggers!  What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?  We are having an odd winter here the South (Louisiana to be exact).  Temperatures in the low to mid 70's.  Don't get me wrong we've been enjoying the weather.  It's been great not having to bring out the coats and thick jackets.  Here's a LO that I want to share with you that I created that got me into the "winter spirit".  I hope you too are enjoying the weather in your part the world!  Leave me a comment telling me where you live and the type of weather you are having there for your chance to win an awesome prize.  Winner will be announced Sunday, January 22nd.
